HISTORY OF THE UUCC
The first Unitarian Children’s Choir was held in 2000 during General Assembly in Nashville, Tennessee. The conductor was UU composer, Nick Page.
The second one was in 2003 during General Assembly in Boston, Massachusetts. The conductor was Emily Ellsworth.
The third UU Children’s Choir was held in 2006 during the GA in St. Louis, Missouri. The conductor was Sandra Snow.
The next one will be held in 2010 during the General Assembly in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The conductor will be Janeal Crabb Krehbiel. This choir camp will be held in St. Paul, Minnesota.
The UUCC does not happen every year because it takes a lot of planning and money.
